This earring set features the 'Hand of Hamsa' design made with sterling silver. Beautiful swirl embellishments adorn the front of the hand. The 'Hand of Hamsa' depicts an open right hand as a sign of protection from the evil eye.

Artisan Watsud is from Lampang, a beautiful city located on the banks of the Wang River in northern Thailand. Watsud is the sister-in-law of another featured AeraVida artisan, her youngest sister Preeda is married to artisan Somchai. She would often visit the local markets with her mother and sisters. She was amazed by the beautiful jewelry that the local vendors were selling. From these experiences, her interest in creating her own jewelry bloomed into a passion. She learned the craft from local artists and after many years of practice, she perfected her own unique method. She has turned that passion and determination into a successful family business that she runs with her two sisters, Malee and Preeda.
