Aree’s journey in wood carving began at an earlier age, taught by her father, a master carver from northern Thailand. Growing up under his guidance, Aree developed a deep appreciation for the craft, and over the years, her skills flourished. Today, Aree takes great pride in her work, and she has become well-known in her region, particularly for being one of the few women woodcarvers in a traditionally male-dominated field. Aree’s woodcarving business not only showcases her talent but also helps support several local families in her province, providing them with steady income. She is proud of the impact her work has on her community, and the legacy of craftsmanship she continues to uphold.
