Artisan Sara was introduced to jewelry design at an early age by her father who was a silver smith in Bangkok, Thailand. Growing up in her father’s shop, she learned to appreciate the beauty of silver and other metals. As her experience grew, Sara wanted to incorporate more vibrant colors into her family’s designs, which focused more on sleek metal components. Sara decided to use semi-precious stones in her jewelry designs. She also wanted to add gold accents to the jewelry so she decided to coat her silver with pure 18 carat gold. As an artisan, Sara finds her inspiration from modern fashion and tries to incorporate this into her family’s classic designs. Sara works very hard in growing the family business so that her parents can retire and also to provide for her family. Sara hires help locally and tries to gives back to her community as much as possible.
