A beautiful symbol that was found all over Ancient Egypt, the Ankh was used to represent eternal life. It was said that the Gods of Egypt bestowed the gift of eternal life to the Pharaohs by giving them the Ankh. This has inspired Thai artisan Apinya to create these beautiful Ankh stud earrings using fine sterling silver. Sure to add a touch of Ancient Egypt to whatever you are wearing, these beautifully handcrafted stud earrings will make a great addition to your jewelry line-up.

Born in the northern city of Chang Mai, artisan Apinya grew up in a place full of creative energy. Most of the people in his hometown work in the silver trade and are expert silversmiths. From this background, Apinya learned all he could in Chang Mai before venturing to Bangkok to seek his own path. This is where he met his wife Dao, who was an accountant by trade. The two of them opened a jewelry store in one of Bangkok’s busiest markets and with hard work and determination, he has built a successful business. His designs are a mix of modern influences with traditional silversmithing techniques that he learned during his youth. We love his designs and are excited to share his work with the world.
“My family comes from a long line of master craftsmen and I learned so much from my parents. They showed me the value of our skill and how to appreciate the old techniques. I brought that experience with me on my own journey. With my amazing wife Dao, we come up with our designs and then bring them to life. I find happiness and joy through my work and I am excited about my partnership with AeraVida. Together we can hopefully take my designs all over the world.” -Apinya
