This ancient symbol of protection is said to ward off the Evil Eye curse, which can cause misfortune and bad luck. This belief dates back 5,000 years to the ancient Sumerian civilization. One gets the Evil Eye by way of another person’s glare, praises or compliments, whether ill-intentioned or not. Both mystical and stylish, this stunning ring from Thai artisan Goong features the ancient Evil Eye symbol made from fine sterling silver. A vibrant stone accent adds a splash of color to this iconic ring which will look great with any outfit.

Goong worked very hard learning traditional embroidery, weaving and jewelry design. Her favorite was jewelry design because she loved how she could use native materials such as semi-precious stones and silver to create beautiful pieces. Goong worked hard honing this craft and she opened a small workshop where she could design and create silver jewelry. Goong’s dream of owning her own business so she could provide for her family was finally coming true.
